If you cant get a copy of everything (if you ask the attorney directly you should be able ot get a copy of the complete filing) try to get:
- copy of LC or atleast the section that describes the skills
- copy of employment verification letter which describes skills
original I-140 typically stays with employer. trhey might give youa copy of the approval notice...

been in us since 1999 and lost my earlier priorty date and now my priority date is Jan 2007...it sucks...the only good thing is i now have EAD and AP. everyone who is here fro last 5-6 years should be current with priority dates..

I applied my EAD renewal on June 19th and AP on August 1st. Both are approved today(august 20th). The Ead status is Card Production ordered.

Two year EAD with Expiry date of 10/02/2010 (My first EAD was expiring on 10/03/2008

The fact is that the biggest immediate issue facing the majority of people is Not a green card, it is that they cannot even file for it. Wasn't retrogression the whole reason why people joined IV? GC processing was always slow, and that was a big problem. But it only got to be a critical problem when people realized they could not change jobs and their spouses could not work due to the retrogression.
Let us focus on the low hanging fruits first.

a) Filing for stage 3 regardless of PD
b) Relief for people in the LC mess
c) Fingerprinting one person just Once (i mean fingerprints dont change do they?)
... does it make sense to go for a Comprehensive Permanent solution or does it make sense to ask for smaller tid-bits and treat the other costs we incur as "costs of doing business"? ... Let us seriously think about this solution.

If GCs were sold in stores I would buy you and your family a bunch of them.
You are in the EB3 category, do you ever wonder why somebody who is more educated than you or me, makes more money? Can we say, hey you I was born in 1890 I should make more money, it does not fly, EB3 is not a reflection on your skills but more the job you hold.
The question you should ask is why have EB1, 2, 3, etc?
Why do you not include the family based categories, isn't family first, why not the EB spill over to to FB first then whatever trickles down comes to EB, is not this fair? I am sure there are a lot in the FB queue who have waited for longer than you. Now dont tell you you are better than FB because you are highly skilled, pay taxes, etc.
You signed up for this knowing what was in store.
You think writing a letter or starting up a thread is going to help?
I just wonder, is IV some kind of therapy? something like weightwatchers,
maybe we should call ourselves GCWatchers, for frustrated GC folks from India.
Tell me this, are your bosses fools to sponsor you in EB3, do they not know it will take years? No they are not, ask yourself why?

It is a question of WHAT the COUNTRY needs, not who is made of gold
Therefore dont think you are as an EB2 more (or less) entitled to anything, and correct the "faltu" ideas in your brain

If your 140 Approved from NSC then you should get receipts from NSC. Not from TSC.

How about sending the flowers to many people rather than sending it just one person???
If 200 different people in DC get flowers then it will definitely create a larger impact than sending it one single person. .. Atleast thats what I think ...
We can very well send them to White House as well.. I know president responds to them with a nice autographed picture of himself alongwith first lady..

Don't like EB-3 dates...but looking at EB-2 dates, does this mean that from now on we will see only forward movement in EB-2 I/C dates?
If the first month of the new year didn't retrogress, would every month see a movement of week or two? Or keeping in great USCIS tradition, this is just another 'fluke'? ;)
Ya I presume your assumption is right regarding EB-2 forward movement. But on a whole the EB-2 India/China dates havent forwarded up to my predictions. But we could expect a steady and consistent movement of EB-2 India/China ahead.
